Meet the Member

The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society is made up of passionate growers, producers, and equine and agricultural enthusiasts, all united in their support for rural life in Northern Ireland. To help you connect with more friendly faces from across the Society, we've refreshed a popular Balmoral News feature and are proud to introduce the new Meet the Member.

This summer we persuaded busy member Ellen Murphy from Antrim to catch us up on all things wool handling in what is undoubtedly one of her busiest seasons yet. 

Thanks to support from the Society, Ellen and the team were able to travel to New Zealand earlier this year to compete against some of the best competitors in the sheep shearing and wool handling circuit.
