Members' Code of Conduct

1. Members a re expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner that wiII not bring the society into disrepute.

2. Members must follow the instruction of Society staff, stewards, and agents in relation to health & safety, access and movement around the Showgrounds.

3. Members must present their valid membership card to gain admission to the Balmoral Show, Winter Fair and Members' Rooms (when appropriate).

4. Membership is not transferable. Membership cards presented by individuals other than the Member will be retained by the Society.

5. Membership cards remain the property of the Society and must be returned to the Society in the event of membership lapsing.

6. Members, having gained admission to the Showgrounds must ensure their behaviour does not put at risk themselves, other Members, the general public, Society staff and animals.

7. During Balmoral Show, Members are entitled to entertain two guests in the Members' rooms. Only two guests can make use of the facilities at any time and must be accompanied by the Member at all times. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests behave in an appropriate manner.

Members who do not observe this code of conduct may have their membership reviewed by the Council of the Society.
