Presidential Perspectives

From challenges to triumphs and growth to innovation, the RUAS has evolved over the years thanks to it's dedicated leaders and knowledgeable members. In this mini video series we're getting to know more about our past presidents, how the Society has grown over recent years and still continues to support our local agri-food industry.

Our "President from the heart" Christine Adams was the second female president of the RUAS.

From 2022 to 2024 one of Christine's main goals was promoting her fellow women in agriculture and getting natural female leaders more involved in the Society and it's Council.

She has always understood the importance of having a diverse membership and is an advocate for welcoming more young people into the Society's ranks.

Here's Christine's story.
