President's Award

The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society has always been synonymous with recognising those who consistently go above and beyond to support and pursue the charity’s objectives.

For over three decades members have been celebrated for their exceptional dedication, initiative, and impact through an accolade first introduced as the Tyrone Crystal Perpetual Plate

Presented to the Society in 1991, Council agreed that it should be awarded annually to a member who had made a significant contribution towards the work of the Society. The Plate was displayed throughout the year in the King’s Hall Cup Cabinet with the winner retaining a smaller sized replica. 

Following the closure of Tyrone Crystal, the accolade was renamed the President’s Plate and subsequently President’s Award. To this day it continues to recognise the worthy recipients who embody the spirit of service through their leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the RUAS.
