The 2026 Balmoral Show in partnership with Ulster Bank welcomed tens of thousands of visitors to the Eikon Exhibition Centre once again to celebrate the region’s proud agri-food industry with the people who make it all possible.

The weather may have been cooler than usual on the first day of the Show but competition quickly heated up as Clare and Gary Wright’s Ballygoskin Alma Rose 17 was crowned the 2026 Pig Interbreed Individual Champion.

As the Show drew to a close on Saturday, TV presenter Jullian Simmons faced the tough decision of choosing the 2026 Balmoral Show Champion of Champions. After interviewing the exhibitors and getting a closer look at their award-winning animals, Jullian made history as he (gently) tapped out Katie Meharry’s regal French Lop rabbit, Emily as this year’s Champion of Champions.

Commenting on the 157th Balmoral Show Rhonda Geary, RUAS Group Operations Director remarked, “Not even the rain could dampen spirits at this year’s Balmoral Show, in partnership with Ulster Bank, where smiles could be found around every corner.

“Our champions are a true reflection of the exceptional quality of produce and livestock found across Northern Ireland. The Show continues to be a renowned showcase for local agriculture and food, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to meet and chat with the dedicated exhibitors whose hard work and commitment make the event possible.

“To all our exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, contractors and staff, we extend our sincere thanks. Your support, dedication and enthusiasm helped make this year’s Balmoral Show such a memorable and special occasion.
