Today the Society's Horticulture Committee met to prepare for the 2026 Balmoral Show and to celebrate a fantastic achievement.
They were delighted to present a cheque for £3,200 to MindWise, a leading mental health charity in Northern Ireland. This generous sum was raised through public donations from the sale of vegetable transplants, generously donated by the Gabbie Family of John Gabbie & Sons at this year's Balmoral Show.
This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the support of the RUAS Horticulture Committee as well as Gilfresh, Shane Donnelly from Greenisland Flowers and numerous volunteers.
